A large weighty tablet, inspired by Virginia Woolf's seminal novel The Waves, this pendant is cut with many coursing ripples through the body, the edges crushed and notched. Stamped with over 10 different stamps for texture, the surface has an undulating depth, stippled with dotwork for effect. Very heavily oxidised and brought to a medium shine to bring contrast to the detail. Hung on an 18 inch belcher chain. 30mm x 30mm and 2mm thick.
Hallmarked consisting of Maker's mark, Traditional Fineness mark, Millesimal Fineness mark, Assay Office mark and Date Letter mark.

Try to avoid wearing your jewellery when swimming, playing sport, gardening, doing DIY or in contact with chemicals, such as household cleaning agents, etc. If you are storing your jewellery for any length of time, wrap it in tissue/cloth and seal in an airtight bag to prevent oxidation. When cleaning jewellery, never use commercial chemical jewellery-cleaners, which invariably weaken the metal and can cause damage. Simply wash in mild soapy water, rinse and wipe clean. Then lightly polish with a soft cloth (a glasses-lense cloth is ideal).
