Inspired by Shakespeare's Viola, this is has an arcing, shape-shifting, darkly sinuous ebb and flow, all fluid curves and strong bold edges, this has a lovely even weight, the flared spiral subtly unfurling from its drop. Deeply deeply bruised, pitted, gouged and scuffed, then wrapped into an open rhythmic spiral, the centre of the silver shaped inward to give the graceful flare prominence. Heavily oxidised and then lightly rubbed back in stages through the body, with the edges polished hard to bring light. All brought to a medium shine with extra lustre at the spiral for contrast. Hung on an 18 inch belcher chain. 30mm x 12mm and 1.5mm thick.
