A wide band medium size cuff. Scored, scratched, scuffed and cut along the length of the band, layering different textures. Then given form and shape with a variety of stamps, to give an abstract, moving, flowing feel. Decorated with dotwork and stippling to lift the silver. Heavily oxidised, part removed then oxidised again, to add extra depth. Rubbed back and part-polished, to bring lustre/shine to the edges. Rhythmic, poetic with a real sense of gentle movement and playfulness, undulating dark to light. 150mm long x 15mm wide and 1.5mm thick with a 25mm opening.

'The Bathers' cuff
Try to avoid wearing your jewellery when swimming, playing sport, gardening, doing DIY or in contact with chemicals, such as household cleaning agents, etc. If you are storing your jewellery for any length of time, wrap it in tissue/cloth and seal in an airtight bag to prevent oxidation. When cleaning jewellery, never use commercial chemical jewellery-cleaners, which invariably weaken the metal and can cause damage. Simply wash in mild soapy water, rinse and wipe clean. Then lightly polish with a soft cloth (a glasses-lense cloth is ideal).
