Inspired by Shakespeare's Prospero, this is a very large, bold weighty tablet - a striking, brooding statement piece. Deeply deeply bruised and scuffed and shaped with a prominent convex curve. Heavily oxidised and then rubbed back in stages to bring out the contrast. Brought to a high shine with extra lustre at the edges to accentuate the tempest centre. Hung on an 18 inch belcher chain. 40mm x 30mm and 2mm thick.
Hallmarked consisting of Maker's mark, Traditional Fineness mark, Millesimal Fineness mark, Assay Office mark and Date Letter mark.
Try to avoid wearing your jewellery when swimming, playing sport, gardening, doing DIY or in contact with chemicals, such as household cleaning agents, etc. If you are storing your jewellery for any length of time, wrap it in tissue/cloth and seal in an airtight bag to prevent oxidation. When cleaning jewellery, never use commercial chemical jewellery-cleaners, which invariably weaken the metal and can cause damage. Simply wash in mild soapy water, rinse and wipe clean. Then lightly polish with a soft cloth (a glasses-lense cloth is ideal).
