A spectacular explosion of shape and light, textured with a wonderfully intricate stippled swirl through the centre and onto the rays, each twisted into a series of arcs. Heavily oxidised several times and then part rubbed back for detail. All brought to a high shine. Vividly striking, as refined as it is boldly eye-catching, a beautiful poetic iridescent statement. Hung on an 18 inch belcher chain. 40mm x 30mm and 1.5mm thick.
